The prison alarms screamed through the night.

Inside Iron Hollow Prison, the guards were already running.

Not toward the danger.

Away from it.

Because Cell 666 had just opened.

A heavy metal door slowly creaked outward… and something stepped into the hallway.

A tall figure wearing a torn black hood.

Long dark hair hung over a demon skull face, its teeth stained red.

In his hands…

A chainsaw.

It started with a low growl.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

One guard froze.

“W–what the hell is that…?”

The creature lifted its head slowly. Its glowing eyes locked onto him.

Then it smiled.

“Chainsaw Man… escaped.”

The guard barely had time to scream before the chainsaw roared forward.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

Blood exploded across the prison walls as the chainsaw tore through armor, bone, and flesh like paper.

Sirens blared.

More guards rushed down the hall with rifles.

“OPEN FIRE!”

Gunshots filled the corridor.

But Chainsaw Man didn’t stop.

Bullets slammed into his body, ripping his cloak… but he kept walking.

Slow.

Heavy.

Unstoppable.

Then he swung the chainsaw in a wide arc.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Three guards were split apart in a shower of blood and metal.

One prisoner watching from a cell whispered in terror:

“That's not a man… that's a demon…”

Chainsaw Man turned his skull face toward the prison yard.

Outside the walls… the world waited.

Cities.

Humans.

Everything.

He whispered in a deep, broken voice:

“Everything… must fall.”

He kicked open the steel exit door.

Flames from burning prison trucks lit the night sky.

The chainsaw screamed louder than ever.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

And Chainsaw Man walked into the world.

Leaving nothing alive behind him.

Part 2 — The Police Try to Stop the Monster

The prison burned behind him.

Flames climbed into the sky as sirens screamed across the highway. Smoke rolled through the dark night like black clouds of war.

And walking out of it…

was Chainsaw Man.

His hood dragged behind him. His demon skull face was covered in blood. The chainsaw in his hands still growled like a hungry beast.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

Up ahead, red and blue lights filled the road.

Police cars formed a barricade across the street.

Twenty officers stood with rifles aimed straight at him.

One officer shouted through a megaphone:

“STOP RIGHT THERE! DROP THE WEAPON AND GET ON THE GROUND!”

Chainsaw Man kept walking.

Slow.

Heavy.

Like death itself coming closer.

Another officer whispered nervously,

“Why isn't he stopping…?”

The chainsaw roared louder.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

“OPEN FIRE!”

The street exploded with gunshots.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Bullets slammed into Chainsaw Man’s chest, arms, and shoulders.

His cloak ripped apart.

Blood sprayed.

But he didn’t fall.

He didn’t even slow down.

One officer stepped back in horror.

“Oh God… he’s still walking…”

Chainsaw Man lifted his head.

His glowing eyes locked onto them.

Then he sprinted forward.

The chainsaw screamed like a demon released from hell.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

The first police car was split in half.

Metal screamed as the blade tore through the engine.

An officer fired wildly.

Chainsaw Man grabbed him with one hand…

and the chainsaw ripped through the air.

Blood exploded across the pavement.

The other officers ran.

But there was nowhere to go.

Sirens mixed with screams as the monster carved through the barricade.

Cars flipped.

Glass shattered.

The chainsaw never stopped screaming.

Finally…

Silence.

The street was covered in smoke.

Police lights flickered across the ground.

Bodies and broken cars were scattered everywhere.

Chainsaw Man stood in the middle of it all.

Breathing slowly.

Then he looked toward the city skyline.

Thousands of lights glowing in the distance.

More humans.

More destruction.

His chainsaw slowly revved again.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

And he began walking toward the city.

Part 3 — The Demon Brothers Arrive

The city streets were covered in flashing lights.

Police cars surrounded the burning highway. Helicopters circled overhead. Officers hid behind their vehicles with rifles pointed toward the dark road.

And standing in the middle of it all…

was Chainsaw Man.

The engine of the chainsaw roared like a monster waking up.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

The police captain yelled through a megaphone:

“THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING! DROP THE WEAPON!”

Chainsaw Man slowly tilted his skull head.

Then he revved the chainsaw louder.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

“FIRE!”

Gunshots exploded everywhere.

Bullets ripped through the air toward him.

Chainsaw Man charged forward—

But suddenly…

The ground beneath the police barricade CRACKED.

A massive claw burst from the pavement.

BOOOOOM!!

One police car flipped through the air.

A giant shadow rose from the broken street.

It was Drethar.

His massive demon body towered over the police cars. His glowing red eyes looked down at the officers like insects.

Drethar laughed.

“HAHAHAHA! Humans trying to stop Chainsaw Man?”

Another voice echoed from the darkness behind the police line.

“That's adorable.”

A tall demon stepped out of the shadows.

Grinveil.

His long grin stretched across his terrifying face as black smoke curled around him.

One officer whispered in terror:

“Oh God… there’s more of them…”

Drethar cracked his knuckles.

“You handle the front.”

Grinveil grinned wider.

“I'll handle the screaming ones.”

Chainsaw Man didn’t say a word.

He simply raised the chainsaw.

The police captain screamed:

“RETREAT! RETREAT!”

Too late.

The three demons attacked.

Chainsaw Man rushed the barricade.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Cars split apart as the chainsaw tore through metal and armor.

Drethar smashed his massive fist into the ground.

BOOOOOM!!

Police vehicles flew through the air like toys.

Grinveil moved like a nightmare through the smoke, appearing behind officers before they could even turn around.

His claws flashed in the police lights.

Screams filled the street.

Helicopters tried to escape into the sky.

But Drethar grabbed a police car and threw it into the air.

CRASH!!

The helicopter exploded in a fireball.

Within minutes…

The battlefield was silent.

Flames burned across the road.

Broken cars and shattered weapons covered the street.

Chainsaw Man stood beside the two demon brothers.

Grinveil wiped blood from his claws.

“So… what’s the plan?”

Chainsaw Man looked toward the glowing skyline of the city.

Thousands of humans.

Millions of screams waiting to happen.

He slowly revved the chainsaw again.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

Drethar smiled.

“Oh… this is gonna be fun.”

And the three monsters began walking toward the city.

Part 4 — The Army’s Trap

The city was burning.

Police cars were destroyed. Buildings smoked in the distance. Sirens screamed everywhere as humans ran for their lives.

In the middle of the chaos walked the three monsters:

Chainsaw Man

Drethar

Grinveil

Drethar laughed loudly as he kicked a flipped car down the street.

“Humans are weak!”

Grinveil grinned, licking blood from his claws.

“I almost feel bad for them.”

Chainsaw Man said nothing.

His chainsaw growled quietly.

RRRRRRRRR…

Suddenly…

The sky filled with a new sound.

WHUP WHUP WHUP WHUP

Helicopters.

Lots of them.

Drethar looked up.

“Well… that’s new.”

Military helicopters surrounded the sky. Bright spotlights locked onto the three demons.

A loud voice blasted from a speaker.

“THIS IS THE UNITED STATES ARMY! DO NOT MOVE!”

Grinveil laughed.

“Oh look… more toys.”

Then the ground began to shake.

BOOM… BOOM… BOOM…

Tanks rolled into the street from every direction.

Dozens of soldiers surrounded the demons with heavy weapons.

Chainsaw Man slowly lifted his chainsaw.

But before he could move—

THOOM!

Huge metal nets shot out of cannons.

The nets were made of thick glowing chains and electrified steel.

They slammed down on all three monsters.

ZZZZZZZZZT!!

Massive electric shocks exploded through the nets.

Drethar roared.

“RRRRAAAAHHHH!!”

Grinveil screamed as electricity burned through his body.

Chainsaw Man tried to cut through the net—

But the electricity blasted through the chainsaw motor.

The engine died.

RRR… rrr…

Then silence.

The demons collapsed to their knees.

The soldiers cautiously moved closer.

One commander stared at the captured monsters.

“Unbelievable…”

“Three of them…”

Massive armored trucks rolled forward carrying a gigantic steel cage reinforced with chains, concrete, and electrified bars.

The unconscious demons were dragged inside.

The cage door slammed shut.

CLANG!!

Soldiers locked it with huge steel bolts.

Inside the cage…

Chainsaw Man slowly opened one glowing eye.

Drethar groaned beside him.

Grinveil smiled weakly.

Grinveil whispered:

“They think… they won…”

Chainsaw Man’s skull grin slowly widened.

Outside the cage, the commander turned to his soldiers.

“Transport them to the underground military base.”

“No one gets near that cage.”

But inside…

The chainsaw engine made a quiet sound.

rrr…

rrr…

RRRR…

The chainsaw was starting again.

And the cage…

was beginning to shake.

Part 5 — The Cage Breaks

The massive military truck rumbled down a dark highway.

Inside the reinforced trailer sat the giant steel cage.

Electric sparks cracked across the metal bars.

Inside the cage…

Three monsters slowly woke up.

Chainsaw Man.

Drethar.

Grinveil.

Drethar lifted his head and groaned.

“Ugh… those humans hit hard.”

Grinveil sat up, rubbing his neck.

“They think a cage can hold demons?”

Across from them, Chainsaw Man slowly stood.

The chainsaw in his hands began to growl again.

rrr… rrr…

Then louder.

RRRRRRRRRRR…

Outside the truck, soldiers drove in a convoy with tanks and armored vehicles.

One soldier spoke over the radio.

“Almost at the military base. Everything secure.”

Inside the cage—

The chainsaw roared to life.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Chainsaw Man swung the blade straight into the metal bars.

KRAAAAAANG!!

The entire cage shook.

Drethar grinned.

“Oh… now we’re talking.”

Chainsaw Man swung again.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

The bars bent.

Electric sparks exploded everywhere.

Grinveil laughed wildly.

“BREAK IT!”

Chainsaw Man slammed the chainsaw into the cage again.

KRAAAAAAAASH!!!

The metal bars snapped open.

The entire side of the cage collapsed.

The truck driver screamed over the radio.

“THE CAGE IS OPEN! THE CAGE IS OPEN!”

Drethar burst through the broken metal.

He jumped off the moving truck and landed on the highway like a meteor.

BOOOOM!!

Concrete shattered under his feet.

Grinveil leaped out behind him, disappearing into the shadows of the road.

Soldiers began shouting everywhere.

“THEY’RE ESCAPING!”

But Chainsaw Man did something different.

Instead of running…

He jumped down directly in front of the entire convoy.

Tanks.

Soldiers.

Armored trucks.

All staring at him.

Chainsaw Man slowly lifted the chainsaw.

The engine screamed louder than ever.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

A soldier whispered in horror:

“Oh God…”

Then Chainsaw Man charged.

He smashed straight into the front tank, the chainsaw ripping into the metal armor.

SKREEEEEEEEEEECH!!!

The blade tore through the tank like paper.

Soldiers opened fire from every direction.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

Bullets tore into his body.

But he didn’t stop.

He spun through the battlefield like a demon hurricane.

Cars split in half.

Guns shattered.

Soldiers ran in terror.

The highway turned into a warzone of smoke and fire.

In the distance, Drethar and Grinveil watched from a hill.

Drethar crossed his arms and laughed.

“That guy is insane.”

Grinveil smiled.

“He likes the fight.”

Below them…

The chainsaw roared through the night.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

And the army realized something terrible.

They hadn’t captured a monster.

They had just unleashed one.

Part 6 — The Army Sends Jets and Tanks

The highway had turned into a battlefield.

Burning trucks lit the night sky. Broken tanks smoked across the road. Soldiers ran through the chaos, shouting into radios.

And standing in the middle of it all…

was Chainsaw Man.

His body was covered in blood and bullet holes.

But he was still standing.

The chainsaw screamed like a demon from hell.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

A terrified soldier yelled into his radio:

“WE NEED BACKUP NOW! THIS THING WON’T DIE!”

Far above the clouds…

Two fighter jets roared through the sky.

Inside the cockpit, a pilot spoke calmly.

“Target locked.”

Below them, the monster stood alone in the burning highway.

Chainsaw Man slowly looked up.

The pilot pressed the button.

WHOOSH!!

Missiles screamed down toward the road.

BOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The entire highway exploded in fire.

Flames shot hundreds of feet into the air.

Soldiers shielded their eyes from the blast.

Smoke rolled across the battlefield.

One soldier whispered:

“Did we get him…?”

Then something moved inside the fire.

A shadow stepped forward through the smoke.

The chainsaw sound returned.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR…

Chainsaw Man walked out of the flames.

Still alive.

Still coming.

The soldiers stared in pure horror.

“No way…”

Suddenly the ground shook again.

BOOM… BOOM… BOOM…

Three massive army tanks rolled forward.

Their cannons turned directly toward the demon.

The commander shouted:

“FIRE EVERYTHING!”

BOOOOM!!!

Tank shells blasted across the battlefield.

Explosions ripped through the road around Chainsaw Man.

Concrete shattered.

Cars flew into the air.

But the monster sprinted straight toward the tanks.

The chainsaw screamed louder than ever.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

He jumped onto the first tank—

And slammed the chainsaw into the turret.

SKREEEEEEEEEECH!!!

Metal ripped apart as the blade carved through the armor.

The tank exploded in flames.

The second tank fired again.

BOOM!!

Chainsaw Man was thrown across the road by the blast.

Dust filled the air.

For a moment…

Everything went quiet.

A soldier whispered:

“Please tell me he’s dead…”

The dust slowly cleared.

Something stood up.

The chainsaw revved again.

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Chainsaw Man charged the tanks again.

In the distance, watching from the shadows…

Drethar laughed loudly.

“HAHAHAHA! Humans never learn!”

Beside him, Grinveil smiled.

“They should have stayed home.”

Above the battlefield, the fighter jets turned around for another attack.

And the war…

was just beginning.
